What is an ectropion?
An ectropion is a common condition occurring mainly in elderly people where the lower eyelid turns out.
Common symptoms
- Red and sore eyelids.
- Watering eye.
Treatment
Ectropion usually requires a small operation to tighten the eyelid. This operation is as a day case patient.
